Did you know that 1 out of every 5 Americans has a disability?

Many people don’t realize that people with disabilities are America’s largest minority group. The disability community numbers approximately 54 million and contains people of every ethnicity, age, and gender. Despite this significant presence, there is a lack of regular public dialogue about how to be inclusive of this major segment of our population. As a result, it is all too common for people with disabilities to be overlooked and underrepresented in society and in the workplace.

Disability 101 can help. The four modules of Disability 101 provide the answers, tips, and resources to help our communities and businesses look beyond the disability and actively and appropriately include people with disabilities. Click here to go to Disability 101.
